The "Forest Meets School" project aims to convey the importance of nature and the forest ecosystem to pupils through practical work and experiencing the forest.

Theoretical learning content from school, which also deals with the global context, is transferred to practical, real-life situations so that learning with all the senses and a transfer of global contexts into local action can be made possible. As part of the educational work, the forest is to be experienced as a learning space in which education for sustainable development in the sense of the Global Development Framework is achieved through practical, tangible learning.
