From apple to apple tree - a project for sustainability and healthy eating.
Sustainability starts with the little ones: We are proud to report on our support for the Hemmersdorf kindergarten in the wonderful "From apple to apple juice" project. Together with the children and committed partners such as the Hemmersdorf and Niedaltdorf Fruit and Horticultural Association, we created an experience that combined knowledge, joy and awareness of nature.
An educational journey: from apple tree to apple juice

The children at the Hemmersdorf daycare center experienced the entire process of apple juice production - from harvesting to freshly squeezed juice. They learned about the diversity of apple varieties, found out exciting facts about the importance of regional orchards and gained practical insights into sustainable cultivation. With the support of the Hemmersdorf fruit and gardening association, the children collected apples from the region, which not only taught them about the value of local resources, but also the importance of teamwork and closeness to nature. The Niedaltdorf fruit and gardening association then took over the pressing of around 500 liters of apple juice, which was freshly bottled and brought to the kindergarten.
Our support for the "From apple to apple tree" project
As a foundation, it was a matter close to our hearts to support this project. With an amount of €345, we helped to ensure that the apple juice could be produced. The children's enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge confirm once again how important it is to promote sustainable projects at a young age.
