SV Elversberg 07

The proWIN pro nature Foundation was able to provide SV 07 Elversberg with advice and support during their licensing process to achieve their sustainability criteria, which had to be fulfilled for the first time.
The starting point for the co-operation between our foundation and the club was the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga and the associated obligations: Participation in Bundesliga or Bundesliga 2 match operations requires a licence for the club. By obtaining such a licence, the club can demonstrate that it meets certain minimum sporting, infrastructural, personnel, administrative, legal and financial requirements.
For the first time, SV 07 Elversberg had to deal with the issue of sustainability. The requirements and criteria that the club must fulfil are divided into the dimensions of (1) club management and organisation, (2) climate, environment and resources and (3) stakeholders and social responsibility and can thus be assigned to the three sustainability areas of economy, ecology and social affairs.
In addition to collecting data, the SVE was also faced with the challenge of developing various strategies and concepts to anchor sustainability within the organisation and thus strengthen sustainability awareness. To this end, there were repeated discussions in joint meetings until the final versions were finally put on paper and presented to the Executive Committee.
In addition to various standards, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda served as a guide in the development process. One of these SDGs has already been fulfilled through the cooperation between SV 07 Elversberg and the proWIN pro nature Foundation.
Goal 17
Partnerships to achieve the goals.
The proWIN pro nature Foundation is delighted that it was able to play its part and that SV 07 Elversberg has received its licence for the next 24/25 season.
