In recent years, the proWIN pro nature Foundation has supported several schools in setting up a school garden. The gardens are intended to teach pupils about healthy eating and the preservation of biodiversity as part of sustainable environmental education. The energetic helpers have created raised beds, set up insect hotels and planted fruit trees.
The schools that can enjoy their school gardens include the Gemeinschaftsschule Eppelborn, the Grundschule Landsweiler-Reden, the Alex-Deutsch-Schule (GemS Wellesweiler) and the IGS Mutterstadt.
