Protect fawns
The initiative "pro Kitz Alsweiler und Umgebung" has set itself the goal of protecting small fawns from being killed by mowing work, which is necessary because the fawns are not discovered in the tall grass and do not run away from the sound of the mower, but hide closer in the grass out of fear. In order to save these animals, the pro nature Foundation has supported the initiative, which consists exclusively of volunteers, by donating a drone with an integrated thermal imaging camera. This means that the little fawns can be spotted in time and brought to safety!
