Around 30 fawns have been saved from tragic death by agricultural and mowing machinery this year alone thanks to a group of dedicated helpers in Freisen. The fawn rescuers use special drones with thermal imaging cameras to locate fawns in the meadows more efficiently and in a more targeted manner. This makes the work of the volunteer animal conservationists much easier.
For this reason, the proWIN pro nature foundation has made a donation to the Freisen nature conservation association to support the purchase of a drone.
