There are many different vacation programs, and not only in Germany. There are certainly very few programs that show children the diversity of our planet. At the Naturpädagogisches Zentrum Schelphof e.V. in Bielefeld-Heepen, a total of 19 children (aged 7-11) were able to take part in such a vacation camp this year.
The project focused on experiencing biodiversity while having lots of fun. For the younger generation, the project offered the opportunity to develop awareness, values and options for action to preserve biodiversity.
