The "Sillegarten" at the Johanneum was established and maintained in 2000 by the after-school care program Silentium at the Johanneum. Every year, the garden has grown thanks to many small initiatives and many volunteer pupils, teachers and parents "cultivate" this piece of land at the Johanneum.
In the meantime, the Silentium garden has become a green oasis where over 200 pupils and teachers eat every day in good weather, celebrate class parties and work in study groups to further develop the garden.
