Freeman Farm

Freeman-Farm Verein für Mensch und Tier e.V. : a sanctuary for abused, abandoned, slaughtered and injured animals.

2018

New stables for the Grandenhof Schiffweiler: Founded in 2005, Freeman Farm is a sanctuary for mistreated, abandoned, slaughtered and injured animals. Until 2015, the founders Alexandra and Alexander Freymann looked after the animals almost single-handedly and out of their own pocket. Today, 35 chickens, 4 pigs, 16 rabbits, 15 ducks, 6 geese, 11 guinea pigs, 3 ponies, 8 sheep, 2 goats, 8 cats, 3 dogs and 5 ferrets live on the farm. Festivals are held on the farm every year, with the proceeds going to the animals.
