Sharks are usually alone on their journeys through the world's oceans and little is known about the migratory movements of these elegant animals. In order to better understand this fascinating species, a research project has been launched that makes it possible to catch the animals without injury using a "lasso", attach sensors and a camera in a matter of seconds and then release them back into the wild. The animals are tracked over several days. Following the observation, the "lasso" dissolves and the animals can continue their migration undisturbed.
