Giving climate and species protection relevance with creativity - that is the goal of three passionate photo and film professionals. And they have brought back many anecdotes from their joint journey as well as breathtaking moving images.
Nature films help to awaken interest and passion for wild animals and their habitats. They provide a lobby for endangered nature and its animal inhabitants by reaching many people directly and demonstrating the urgency of nature and species conservation. They can show what breathtaking habitats will be lost to mankind forever if there is no rethinking and concrete action.
Nature photographer Michael Winter, experienced underwater cameraman Peter Schneider and film production professional Julian Schneider have joined forces with the aim of touching people in precisely this way.
In their lecture on 28 September from 6 p.m., the trio will give the audience an insight into how a documentary film with animals in the leading role is planned and realised on location. They will explain the hurdles they have to overcome and how they manage to get wild animals in front of the lens and tell a gripping story at the same time. Visitors can expect lots of background information, anecdotes and, of course, the best outtakes.
