Peter Schneider

Peter Schneider is an underwater cameraman.
Peter Schneider has long been fascinated by the element of water:

"After my first shark encounter in the Baltic Sea, a few years of slow and deliberate approach to the water followed, because at the time I was more afraid of water than a water rat. My affinity for the water then came with my free-swimmer certificate and the self-confidence that I could keep myself on the surface of the wet element under my own steam. I was allowed to snorkel my first coral reef on the East African coast at the age of 10. My parents sat in a glass-bottomed boat while I dived underneath to find out how the fish see us humans." Peter Schneider has teamed up with Michael Winter and Julian Schneider with the aim of making climate and species protection relevant. In a joint presentation, the trio explain how to get wild animals in front of the lens.
