David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) is a non-governmental organisation in Nairobi that primarily cares for orphaned animals.
According to Spiegel Online, the organisation is "the world's most successful rescue and reintroduction centre for elephant orphans". The trust was recognised as a charity in the UK and the USA in 2004.

DSWT was founded in 1977 by Daphne Sheldrick in memory of her husband David Sheldrick. proWIN pro nature supports this globally unique initiative and is actively involved in rescuing elephants and rhinos in Africa.
