Review of the Reden Experience Days 2025

What a weekend! The Reden Experience Days 2025 once again showed how vibrant sustainability, community and experiencing nature can be. On September 6 and 7, Berghalde Reden was transformed into a place full of discoveries, encounters and enthusiasm.

A record number of visitors with goosebumps

With around 2,800 visitors, we were able to celebrate a new record this year - and every single moment was special. You could feel the joy everywhere: children with shining eyes stroking donkeys, amazed faces at the majestic birds of prey and creative minds at the slag heap art. These two days were characterized by curiosity, laughter and a deep awareness of how important nature and community are for us all.

Highlights for young and old

A varied program with experiences for the whole family awaited the visitors:
  • DK Bow-Factory: Archery for beginners and advanced archers
  • Falconer Rino: Birds of prey you can touch - a real highlight for animal lovers
  • Geibs beekeeping store and proWIN bee wagon: rolling candles and building wild bee hotels
  • Tierlieb Donkey Center: stroke, guide and experience donkeys
  • Saarbrücken Zoo: Exciting insights into species conservation and hands-on activities for children
  • Slag heap art, face painting & creative hands-on stations: Experience nature with imagination and color
  • Healthy snacks included: free organic fruit and vegetable bags for all visitors
People tried things out, laughed and marveled everywhere - a weekend to remember.
