Together for animal welfare: We support the animal welfare association RespekTiere-Meran EO with €5,000
The protection of animals is a task that knows no boundaries. That is why our proWIN pro nature foundation is delighted to have supported the association Hilfe für Tiere in Südtirol e. V. with a donation of € 5,000. This financial aid will support an important project: the work of the animal welfare association RespekTiere-Meran EO in South Tyrol.
RespekTiere-Meran EO - the name says it all
The aim of the association is to reduce animal suffering and raise public awareness of the needs of animals. The volunteers are passionate about the protection and welfare of animals living in the wild and in need.
The central tasks include:
- Castration of free-roaming cats to curb uncontrolled reproduction
- Rental of transport boxes and assistance with visits to the vet - especially for people on low incomes
- Care and medical care for sick found animals and small animals
- Support for pet owners through financial assistance
- Supervision of cat colonies and regular care
- Animal welfare lessons in schools for early education
- Advice on animal welfare issues and active intervention in the event of violations of the Animal Welfare Act
Why we support this project
Animal welfare begins on a small scale - and has an impact on a large scale. The work of RespekTiere-Meran EO is an outstanding example of sustainable, voluntary commitment to animal welfare. Our foundation is proud to support this important initiative financially and thus make a contribution to greater responsibility, respect and compassion towards animals.
