In July, the proWIN pro nature Foundation was able to support the newly founded association Hilfe für vier Pfoten Geseke e. V. with a grant of €1,000. The association currently looks after 121 street cats at fixed feeding stations. In addition to providing food on a daily basis, the volunteers also monitor the animals' health and organize veterinary treatment if necessary.
With the support of the proWIN pro nature foundation, the association is able to purchase urgently needed equipment such as live traps and officially prescribed quarantine boxes. These are needed to keep animals safe during the recovery phase after castration.

Founded in spring 2024, the association has set itself the task of caring for stray cats in Geseke, Büren and Lippstadt, reducing their numbers through neutering campaigns and giving them a better life.

The association also helps dogs of homeless people. Through contact with SKM Lippstadt, food, blankets, cushions, leads and other accessories are provided to support people and animals. The work is financed through fundraising campaigns such as summer festivals, sales stands and a stationary donation box in the Fressnapf Geseke.
