Erlebnisort Reden (nesting boxes)

Swift nesting boxes at Erlebnisort Reden: a project to protect endangered bird species. Erlebnisort Reden is actively committed to the protection of swifts, a bird species that is increasingly threatened by the loss of natural nesting sites due to energy renovation measures.

In cooperation with NABU Schiffweiler and NABU Saarland, 16 new nesting boxes were installed as part of this project to provide suitable nesting sites for swifts and stabilize their populations.

Preservation of the swift population and biodiversity

We support this measure by Erlebnisort Reden to preserve the swift population and biodiversity. With a grant of 504 euros, we want to help further expand the Reden adventure site's long-term commitment to nature conservation and support targeted measures to preserve endangered species. This will not only protect the swifts' habitat, but also make a valuable contribution to promoting biodiversity in the region.
