World Rainforest Day

Did you know that around 3 million hectares of rainforest are destroyed every year? In 2016, the figure was as high as 6.13 million hectares.
World Rainforest Day
Today, on World Rainforest Day, we would once again like to draw attention to the immense importance and urgent need to protect the rainforests in our global ecosystem. The rainforest is not only a producer of raw materials and a supplier of food, but also a protector of species, a producer of oxygen and much more.

It is therefore extremely important to our proWIN pro nature Foundation to contribute to the preservation of the rainforest. We want to use World Rainforest Day to remind people that we can all take action and that everyone can contribute to protecting the rainforest.

How can you help protect the rainforest?

  1. Raise awareness of the importance of and threats to the rainforest.
  2. Sustainable and conscious consumption.
  3. Support projects that are committed to protecting the rainforest and preserving animal and species diversity.
  4. Education and awareness of the issue of rainforest protection are crucial.
Our pro nature foundation, for example, is also committed to preserving the rainforests and protecting orangutans from hunting and illegal trade in Sumatra. Together we can achieve more!
